disc golf

Today since the weather is so nice, i plan going out and trying to play some disc golf at the park. It so much fun to play and the day we were supposed to go in class got rained out. So me and a few friends are going to get together and trying to play some holes of disc golf. Then spend the day in sun at the park. Maybe take a walk around the park and check out all the nice secenery. It always makes for a good time.

Nice weather is finally here

Its so nice that the weather is finally getting warm and you see everyone outside doing activities. People throwing the football and baseball around makes for such a good time. This weather seems to bring happiness to everyone and get the out of the dorms and outside doing things. Personally i love going outside and throwing the football with my boys and haven a good time and crack some jokes and talk to everyone as they walk past.

Cricket Coming to an end

Over the past few weeks we been getting deep in to the sport of cricket and i have learn many things about it. When we first started i did not know anything about it. Now i am starting to get a better idea of all the elements of cricket. It still hard and does confuse me most the time, but it is a very techinical game and takes alot of time to learn and different ways to learn the strategy of the game. So the last few weeks my knowledge of the sport has become greater and i look forward to learning more about it.

Golf

Yesterday in class we started our golf lessons. It was new to me since i never really had the chance to ever play golf before. Now in class i am getting that oppertunity to try something i have always wanted to. I have been to the driving range before, but i never really got the chance to try out out the different clubs there are to use. My putting was ok due to lots of mini golfs games back in the day and when we go on vacation and things. So overal this was a fun new expierence o learn and i can not wait to learn more things about it.

Golf Coming up

Coming up in my one class we will be starting golf. I have never played golf other than going to the driving range and drive the balls far as we can. So this week in my class i am looking to further to expanding my golf skills. Alot of my friends play golf and stuff and if i get to knew how to play, i will be able to hit the course with them. I think that its going to be a little difficult but i o not think it will be too bad in the end. I also get to teach a lesson in golf as well, so I hope I will be ready to do this.

racketball

This week and a little bit of last week we have been playing racketball in class. This was really the first time I have played it. It takes a alot of movement and skill. It nots not always hitting it hard there are also skill shots to be played as well. It is also a great work out. After a few games the other day playing i was exhausted. So it makes for a good time and i am really starting to get better at racketball. I hope my skills get better since we are just starting a tournament in class and i am hoping I will do well in it.

Disc Golf

Yesterday in class we started a new lesson in dic golf. i had never played this until yesterday. it was very fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it as well. even thought the wind was strong yesterday it made it more of a challenge to get to the goal. On monday we will be going to a real disc gold course and we will get to play a few holes of it. I think this is going to be a great time and i hope that the weather will be good. if the weather is bad it will make for a miserable time and we can only hope for good weather since this is a very fun game to play.

bocce ball and croquet

Over the past few days in my one class we been playing bocce ball and croquet. I knew a little bit about these fun games but over the last week i learned the rules better and got to play the game with my class. The games really started pick up and everyone played really hard trying to win. It made everyone try alot harder and made the class go fast and fun. I had played these games at home, but since i got to play them more, i really want my family and friends to try to play on a more regular basis. So overal the last few weeks in the class have been really fun and cant wait till i play again.

We need nice weather

So it is spring and yet it is still so cold out. I was really looking forward to do some working and playing hoops outside but it is still so cold out. It really puts you behind when you got work to do outside and you cant do it due to the weather. so we ask warm weather please come. It looks nice outside until you set foot outside and that cold air hits you in the face. I am just so ready for the nice weather to be here and beable to more things ouytside.

Wii on Break

Over break i went to my little cuz's hous to visit them, since i have not seen them in so long. They are really big into video games and stuff and do not like to do much activities outside of the house. So they mom bought them a wii. They always wanted one, and they finally got to get it. So i went over to visit and i ended up staying there for a few just playing wii with them. They enjoy this so much to play their new toy. When they got done playing you could see in there face that they were so exhausted. It was nice to see them have fun and get more physical activity than they get now.

cheering part 2

since i first started the whole cheerleading thing, i have really came along way on how i feel about the whole thing and the things i can learn to do now. over the past month i learned many different things ffrom the basics to more complex stunts. it is getting really exciting learning something new everytime i go. it makes me feel like i really coming along and making a big push to be a top stunter. so when try outs come along i hope to make the team with all the stuff my friends had taugh me over the last few months.

gym over break

Over this spring break i plan on working at a gym with my cuz. i think that this is going to be very fun and i really enjoy that kind of things. I am good at helping people, and i am pretty knowledgable about lifting and what you need to do to make certain muscle groups big. i always loved to work out and and be in that kind of place. the gyms that are the best are the ones that some older equipment where you can feel like you can get down and dirty to lift than a place with tons of high tech stuff. so i am really looking forward to to working at this gym if everything goes through.

Ice skating

So tonight is the first time i tried to ice skate in so long and boy it was ugly.. i looked so bad out there on the ice. I know people had to be laughing at me and stuff, but it was still so much fun to be out there and stuff. A couple people there were doing all the twists and jumps and stuff and it was really neat to watch. I knew ice skating was hard but trying to do it again was ugly. So overal ice skating is a hard thing to do, or it might be me , who knows..

Bowling

Yesterday, in my one class we went bowling. it was so much fun. its been such a long time since i have been to a bowling lane. i used to go every friday with my friends. i started to get really good until i broke my ball and i stopped going. it sucked to stop going but it aint the same when you cant use your own ball and shoes when you go. but when i went yesterday it felt so good to be back and bowling and having fun with my friends. it makes for a fun time.

Baseball Season around the corner

Its getting to that time where baseball is finally coming back. The weather will hopefully break soon and will get to see some baseball games. If the weather dont break everything gets pushed back and makes everything a mess. I personally love go pro baseball fields to watch game they are so exciting to watch and it just so much fun being there. You get too root for your home team and be with all your fans.

IUP White Out

Lastnight was the IUP white out game. The first like 250 students for each of the games recieved a free t-shirts. Most of the students game to get the free shirt and just leave.. This was kind of funny to me. But anyways the games were pretty well played. The girls lost their game but they played strong and the guys played the best i have ever seen and pulled off a strong win. It was nice to see our team win.

WheelChair Back Flip

Today in the world, there are people doing all kinds of amazing things from jumping over cars, to crazy stunts. But over the weekend something amazing i seen was a guy do a back flip in a wheelchair. He used his wheelchair like a skateboard and rolled down the ramp and did a backflip. This was very impressive since i have never seen something like this ever done before. I give the person alot of props to try to do this, and let alone land it and not get hurt. So i thought this was a very interesting .

Hockey neck slashed

Last Sunday Richard Zednik got his neck cut by the skate of his own teammate. It was sad to hear that something like can happen. You usually hear of missing teeth or broken nose, but you hear that someone got their neck cut is wild. When i hurd about this i was in amazement. I really dont pay alot of attention to hockey so it took me a few days to hear about. It is amazing the types of injuries that can happen in sports

Cheerleading

Over the past few years, i always thought that cheerleading was just a joke and a girl thing. But over the past few days i been going to open gym and i have found out that it is far from that. It takes alot more skills and talent then people think. You have to have so much trust in each person involved cause people can get seriously hurt. So i have a whole different look on cheering and the level of talent you need to be good.

New Mack Laptop

Over the past few years the desk top computer moved towards a laptop. Laptops are nice and convient and very portable. Now the mack has almost a paper thin laptop. THis thing is really neat and so small. Its lightweight feature and new size makes it easier for travel and it takes up less space. So it amazing how they can make a laptop so small now and not take any features away from it.

basketball

The other day at the arc i started to play basketball again. It felt good to be back on the court and have that feeling of enjoyment back. Its fun to play sports that you really enjoy and are pretty good at doing. We played over 14 games and only lost 2 in the proccess. I started off kind of rusty but got better as we played. I am really lookin forward to play again soon. Basketball is a fun sport and a good way to get cardio.

Cell phones

Over the few years cell phones have really getting to a higher potential. Such as the iphone and verizons wireless verison of it. Both of these of these phones are very high in the technology. Such as navigation, internet, and many helpful tools that get people through the day. It also has a nice look to the phone and makes many young adults want tto purchase this phone. This is a few reasons why these phones are such a good seller.
